2018 NSW 6 Hour

A five car team from Southern Sporting Car Club will be participating in the NSW 6 Hour Event, to be run at Eastern Creek, this long weekend.

The regularity event will be holding practice today, with the six hour commencing at 09:00 Easter Sunday.
Members have travelled some distance to participate, with families putting Birthdays and Family get togethers on hold to attend.

UPDATE: 12:05 – Pracetice for the NSW6Hour is underway. Already the attrition is taking it’s toll with the Mustang stuck in third and done for the day.

Race Day – April 1

08:00 – Pit crew prep the cars while drivers are at the briefing

12:30 – At the three hour mark Brad Basset is completing his stint
It’s a hot track today and the drivers are finding it hard to keep their nominated time
David Livian started the runs for and heads out for the second stint.

16:30 – The day done, results are in, with Southern Sporting finishing in 23rd place. Not our best showing but a great day had by all

Update April 6: An adjustment made post race moved Southern Torque to 19th. This was due to an incorrect calculation being used calculating the finishing positions on the day.
